This is the band's final album recorded with Jim Morrison before his mysterious death in Paris. Instead of a sterile studio, the band recorded at their rehearsal space in Los Angeles, and Jim's vocals were recorded right in the bathroom due to the room's unique acoustics. This is where the hypnotic Riders on the Storm sounds, giving you goosebumps.

Scenario by OBERTY: a downpour begins outside the window, you dim the lights in the room, and drop the needle on the record. You just sit in an armchair with hot tea, but you feel this rock and roll shamanism in its purest form.
